It is good to see collaborations again, especially when they have to do with Tweed combined with shoes/boots. But Leffot took it to the next level with this new collaboration. And he did so, by not only incorporating Fox Brothers tweed into the best derby boot ever, by Edward Green, but also by making jackets and caps with it. I won’t lie, the industry has felt somewhat somber with the difficult last year and a half we have all had, but with new ideas like this, it helps to bring it back to life as it shows that businesses are once again thriving or at least trying to by offering new concepts/products. And this is a great one to kick of the A/W2021 season that is just around the corner and will hit us faster than we think. So don’t get too mesmerized by the sun as we all know that the cold is coming soon!

Oh, and let me put my quick two cents in by saying that Army Green suede boot is just beyond cool. Easily my favorite piece of the bunch. But I can see the dark brown hatch grain being the top seller. What say you? Which is your pick?

You were way ahead in pushing leather boots with tweed tops?
Well, hmmm, I think so but I am sure that EG probably did some back in the day before I was ever anything. But I do feel that I helped bolden the industry to not be afraid of two tones, mixing fabrics, making button boots, butterfly loafers etc etc. But I appreciate you saying so and noticing that many things done today, I was pushing years ago 🙂
