Corthay - Never a Bore With Their Eclectic Design

What I love about Corthay (and the French in general) is that they are always pushing the boundaries of design, at least in the shoe arena. I have said it before and I will say it again: it is hard to create something unique (yet still functional and attractive) in the shoe industry as nearly everything under the sun has been done at some point in history. But the French are truly good about creating those things that have never ever been done until they have created it. And that for me deserves praise. This two-toned plain toe adelaide oxford is a great example of something that was most likely never done before Corthay did it. And what I love most about it is that extremely subtle fade from the facing to the vamp and the transition of brown to tan. So amazingly done that you don’t even notice it. That’s a great patina. Well done Corthay!
