As the world evolves so must we should we wish to stay relevant.

I often find myself with subjects that I wish to discuss but no time to write them out, let alone find photography to accompany a long-form blog post. And as a lone blogger without a team of writers behind me, I often find myself doing quick posts with little content and really only focusing on my advertisers for the longer posts. Truth be told, I have written about the most ‘important’ subjects on footwear already but those that read those 5-7 years ago, got what they needed from the blog and probably no longer read it.

Now there are those that come to the blog, new, never heard of me before, and probably just see what is relevant on the front page, but most likely do not sift through my +2000 archived posts that have enough info to write out 10 books. So, how do I re-tell my old info in a new way? Well, welcome to 2022 and the years of podcasting. It seems that anyone who is anyone is a podcaster these days, or Tik Tok’er and well that will never happen for me. So podcasting it is! And truth be told, while I am no good at film editing nor have a team behind me to do all of the work, what I do have is a camera and a whole lot of information in my head that I would love to get out!

So I have decided to give it a try. There are so many subjects that I can speak about that would simply take too long to write out, so I will talk about them instead and hope that all of you will listen, comment, and enjoy. Now, this won’t replace the blog but rather add to it.

First things first, I purchased a new Yeti microphone for all of those who complain about my sound. Hopefully, it will do the trick as I know that no one will listen if the sound quality is not up to par. My phone shoots in 8K so hopefully that is good enough for the video quality 😉 Now all that is left is for me to find the time and to get to it!

Wish me luck and hopefully, you will all find the time to listen!

Coming soon!

Hey Mike, in the menu bar at the top of the blog, you can see categories and peruse that. ‘News’ is every article post by post. Also using the search function for key phrases that you wish to learn more about will bring up older informative articles
