Ever since starting my shoe line I have become more and more interested in photography as a form of art. It is quite amazing how the smallest details can really enhance a photo and vice versa, how the smallest details can also ruin a photo. I saw this photo on Instagram of a bespoke sample by Stefano Bemer and was blown away not only by the shoe but mainly by the photography itself (as the novelty of the shoe is gone as I have seen it before). The red cushioned background really lends a hand in toning down the green from being something that some might find overly strong and really just enhances the photo altogether with respects to this same shoe placed on the common pavement shot. Naturally the lighting was just right as was the quality of the camera lens but I still rate the background playing a big role in the beauty of this shot.
And if I ever fail as a shoe designer, I think that I would then take up shoe photography as I find it quite fun and could do it all day long in various settings. If only there were 48 hours in a day!s

sorry I could’t tell you as I have a professional photographer and don’t know what he uses
