Legendary clothier, The Armoury, is back in London Town on Sept. 28th-29th, bringing with them this time, the famed Viennese shoemaking firm Saint Crispin’s. I for one am quite excited. While I unfortunately can’t afford to spoil myself to a pair of their shoes, it will be a nice treat for me to at least pop my head in, shake the hands of the gentleman behind the brand, and give their shoes a closer inspection! Even before their recent fame, I had known about them and was always intrigued by their designs, particularly because they never hesitate to add splash of individuality into nearly all of their models. And while some might prefer to simply stick to the classics, I find it quite impressive that they manage to alter nearly every classic model out there, yet do so in a way that still allows for the maintaining of elegance and style, without overkill. This is hard to do, and in my book in deserves applaud. So, if you are like me and are quite curious to see what all the fuss is about, pop down to The Rook & Raven art gallery on Rathbone Place.
