For all of you Longwing lovers out there, I presume that something like these new Jacques & Demeter boots will be just up your alley for a potential winter boot purchase for this upcoming season. The weather is starting to turn for the worse and I find myself gravitating to the thought of boots and flannel. While these shown are not necessarily something that I would wear with flannel, I am lucky enough to be able to wear denim for work too, something that would greatly suit the style of this lovely boot. Jacques & Demeter, for those of you that don’t know, is a fairly young French brand that makes all of their shoes in France, using what I am sure are French leathers and to a standard that is among the top. Their style is quite a mixture between classic ideas and modern design, which becomes quickly evident when having a glance at their eclectic mix of shoes in their range. For me, this is the best one and I feel that it really offers something just a touch different with the contrasted welt and lacing, and uniquely designed and clever semi-longwing that runs to the heel counter. I hope that you all enjoy it as much as I do!
On another note, I am heading to my factory tomorrow to not only put in my Spring/Summer order but hopefully finalize my Narrow/Wide last offerings for my upcoming MTO service for J.FitzPatrick Footwear. As always, I will try to keep up with things, but as I have a lot to do, I am not sure that I will manage to do so. If so, see you all back on Friday!
Sincerely,
Justin, “The Shoe Snob”
No, sorry Justin, I don’t find the model appealing. 🙁
