We have just received the first round of about half of our A/W ’16 collection that is all coming within the month of October. First and foremost, we received the stock of our 5 new colorways in the Westlake button boot. You will notice however that certain sizes are already missing. That is due to the fact that we pre-sold this boot about a month ago and certain things went quick so we had to re-order them to arrive before Christmas. But therefore beware that if you see something that you like and don’t jump on it, could be you have to wait a few months for it. Also as part of the new 5 colorways, for three of them (the medley tweeds) we teamed up with Holland & Sherry to make these 3 exclusive colorways that will be limited. The last special treat was the fact that on the black version we used Mother of Pearl buttons to really enhance the classic, plain black boot. And we believe that this small touch of contrast really enhances the elegance of this colorway. We hope that you feel the same! ***All button boots purchases now come with button hooks included***

In the hopes to return to some classics we have finally got back around to having a chukka boot in the collection, ours known as the Ballard (which is the name of my very own hometown neighborhood in Seattle!). We have this coming in two colorways, the one that you see here, called Moss Suede, and another version in Navy Scotchgrain which we should hopefully be receiving within a week or two. The reason that it took me so long to relaunch this model was that I was torn on what last to put it on. But I finally decided that our NGT last, for me, suited this better than the rest. I hope that you all agree. As per the colors, I wanted to do something different. The Moss Suede (aka Loden for technical terms) is a color that I find to be very fitting for the Autumn/Winter feel as it is a soft yet versatile tone that pairs well with jeans to chinos and even the heavier trousers like flannels and cords. The Navy grain I will touch more on when it comes in.
Last but most certainly not least is the Corliss III in Black Calf/Black Scotchgrain. With the success of the burgundy Corliss and the desire for another black shoe that could serve as an alternative to an oxford, making this model in black was a no-brainer for us. It’s elegant, sleek, professional and looks good with literally just about everything. Now the only test will be seeing if you all agree with that statement too!

We still have a bunch of other new models coming in soon so do stay tuned for that as well.
On another note, we have some other JF news so let’s bullet point them below:
- This time last year the pound was at 1.56 to the Dollar, now it is at 1.27 to the Dollar. It’s a great time to be buying in the Dollar against the pound. Not sure it will last though so don’t drag it out too long!
- We are now selling in Paris at La Garçonnière . We have small collection of 5 different models. So if you live in Paris (or France) and have always been interested in our shoes but never had a chance to touch/try them on, now is the opportunity to do so. So please go and visit this lovely shop and see what we do!
- In about 2 weeks time, we will be also selling at a new stockist in Montreal, called GS Douville. I am very happy to be entering the Canadian market again as I know that many Canadian clients are interested in our shoes but reluctant to order online for heavy taxation and the fear of getting the wrong size. Well, now you can be relieved to know that there is now a Canadian stockist that can help make those fears go away. Please visit the shop and if you like, support him and us by getting a pair! 😉 Below you can see two of the models he will be stocking (with more as well).
Happy Shopping!
