For those that have never realized, I have my own shoe brand, J.FitzPatrick Footwear, and the factory that produces my shoes is in Spain. Due to all that has not gone on in this world, I have not been there in nearly 3 years and have been pretty much working remotely from my shop in NYC. Let me tell you, running a shoe production and designing new models remotely is not easy. I am quite hands-on and work so much better when I am in the thick of it so have missed being here and diving head-deep into new projects. It is really hard to find new materials without being able to touch them or sit with a pattern maker to realize your visions. But now I am here and have so many new things in the pipeline that will be coming to fruition in the coming year.
As you can see in the photo, I have been working on my sneakers and incorporating fabrics into them but also more unique features in the leather ones such as braided and perforated side panels. With my collection having the same models for the last year 2 years, they needed a big refresh. And just wait for the dress shoe stuff, but that is more surprise than a sneak peek!
Anyway, the reality is that I won’t be very free this week for writing blog posts so wanted to give you the heads up as to why. After my long time away, I have so much to get working on. And I must utilize my time wisely here!
Wishing everyone a great week and feel free to comment on what you think of the sneakers!

Hi Justin, these new sneaker models & the woven & ‘mixed media’ construction look fantastic! When will they go on sale? The proof is in the product and yours are visionary.
Wishing you a peaceful week,
Brian T.
