So I am here in the wee hours of the morning in Hong Kong, having spent half a day here and already seeing so many things and finally have spent my first bit of time in Asia. It’s quite different here to be honest, but as I am someone who always appreciates seeing new cultures and experiencing their essence, I must say that for the first night here, I have enjoyed myself quite a bit even having gone to the horse races and winning a few bucks! Anyway, enough about me and on to these lovelies by Gaziano & Girling which were originally a special make up that Skoaktiebolaget did for a client, having extended the adelaide pattern to go all the way to the end of the heel. What most may not appreciate is how difficult that handstitch is and how much careful work it takes to take it all the way back. So it’s quite impressive to actually see it as it is not as simple as it looks!
Another note with regards to my Hong Kong trip, for those of you in this area and have managed to miss all of my posts about it, please do come and see us for my trunk show at The Armoury this Friday and Saturday at the Pedder St. location (3rd Floor). Hope to see you there!
Those G&G’s are just terrific.

Talking G&G and stitching, I appreciate my Gable ones, even if they are rtw.
