Steven Taffel of Leffot recently received his new pair of Hiro Yanagimachi chukkas boots and was kind enough to share it with the world and I am glad that he did. I was blown away by the beauty of this pair of chukkas. I have seen that brick colored sole before but mainly in that Dainite version. It is not common on a leather sole as it is a unique dye that needs to be made.

And it goes perfect with this model and snuff looking suede. Not to mention the model itself which is one of the more attractive chukkas that I have seen. That crescent shaped sweeping line of the quarter to the heel is simply sublime. Its shape perfect, as one would expect from Japanese precision.

Hiro continues to impress me on a daily basis and this is among the cream of the crop.

Steven you luck fella, I hope that you enjoy those!
