I like a chukka boot, I really do. But sometimes I see them (or wear them) and feel a bit bored by the monotony. Every now and then, I feel like it needs to just be stirred up a bit. And that is what I love about Norman Vilalta’s chukka boot that really took the idea of one and twisted it so well that something completely different (yet the same) come into place. Because I am also really not too fond of splitting the colors from vamp to heel counter but love the idea of doing so from the top to bottom (like on a balmoral boot), which his pattern allowed for. And boom! Greatness occurred. Now just imagine all of the cool possibilities that could be created!!
