Let me start off by saying, that I always appreciate it when any of you come to visit me and say hi. This always gives me great pleasure as I have said before because without all of you, there would be no reason to continue writing. I know that many of you may not ever get the ability to visit, as you may live in other countries too far away, but hopefully in the future this will change as I travel more for my companies and therefore be able to come to wherever you may be. That being, there are some readers, as my friend here who is a big Anthony Delos fan (who was just most recently purchased by Berluti), that come to see me a few times a year to do what we do best: nerd-out on shoes, by discussing them to no end! The gentleman who had these shoes made, is responsible for the designs of these other Delos shoes too (here and here). I must say that, for me, his taste is exquisite and I always look forward to seeing what he comes in with…always something different. Anyway, this balmoral, while quite straighforward and simple, is absolutely beautiful. I love the stitching on the facing, very elegant and as many of you many know, I love the mixture of textures (i.e. leathers with other leathers or fabrics…). Nevertheless, while nothing too crazy, I thought that you too might enjoy the elegance of this simplistic beauty!
Best,
Justin, “The Shoe Snob”
Why aren’t you making a balmoral shoe, Justin? 🙂
Alex B – Had to chose my decision carefully, and a bal shoe just did not make the cut….at least I have a bal boot!

very nice artwork. How each picture represents another concept is simply brilliant.
