The sun is finally starting to come out these days, well at least the heat is….the rain can’t make up it’s mind whether or not it wants to give London a break or just call it fall all year long. But hey, either way, it’s warm enough to take the risk of breaking out the light colored shoes (and trousers!), otherwise reserved for summer. That being, I decided to break out my new Fremont II, which is my current Fremont model but on my upcoming chisel toe last. While I quite liked the idea of the JKF last on my Fremont model, I felt that it was not as well received in the British market (a bit too pointy for their liking of a darby model). And after making it on this new chisel last, I quite think that I too prefer it like this. While the new chisel last will be set to be released this Autum/Winter, I probably will not update this Fremont model until Spring/Summer 2014….. Well, have to get back to work now, so I hope that you all enjoyed checking out my new model and will be back soon to show what else I am working on!
Jacket: Gieves & Hawkes (going on sale tomorrow)
Trousers: H&M
Tie: Hardy Amies
Shirt: Hackett
not trying to sound funny (sorta), but that colour jacket and pants combo, kinda looks like the joker 🙂
So glad you have this in the line. Yes, JFK too pointy for conservative guy like me.
Very nice, maybe not in the DECO league from G&G but very nice.
