Here we take a look at the most recent pair that Yearn shoemaker sent me. A super cool pair of handmade derbies that I saw during my last trip to London that I was super impressed with. You can see the photos that I took then.
When watching the video and contrasting it against my first video, you will see that there are a lot of improvements on these Yearn handmade derbies they sent me, which is what prompted this new unboxing. That is not to say that the first shoe was not great. It was amazing. But the fit was tricky. The fit has vastly improved here and they have refined their soles and waists, in my opinion.
The detailing has gone up while the pricing is still super low compared to the quality. It is impressive, to say the least. And Yearn continues to offer one of the best values on the market and they keep pushing themselves to get better and better. While not all of their shoes are handmade, to get a completely handmade shoe of this caliber for $500, or thereabout, is hard to come by.
I am always excited to see what they come up with next!
