For those of you interested in reading the thoughts of master last and pattern maker and one of my mentors in the shoe industry, Kevin Seah has just done a nice interview on Tony Gaziano of Gaziano & Girling at the LINK HERE.
The shoe business is a tough one and most people see it as glamorous from the outside looking in, but in the thick of it, you go through a lot of ups and downs and difficulties. Tony shares a bit of that here and opens up about the realism of what it is like to be a business owner in the shoe industry. Something that I can definitely relate to and something that makes for an interesting read, much different than the other typical blog interviews that you find.
On another note, G&G will also be hosting a trunk show in Singapore this coming 11th/12th at the Kevin Seah shop. See details below
Sample the exquisite shoemaking skills of Gaziano & Girling at their latest Singapore bespoke and MTO trunk show, taking place at Kevin Seah’s 5 Jalan Kilang atelier, 11 and 12 September (11am-7pm). Contact email@example.com or call +65 6532 2018 to make an appointment with G&G master craftsman Daniel Wegan.
