I have been quite ill these past few days and thus left myself a bit behind in emails, sending out shoes etc and of course this leaves me with limited time to write on the blog, as per usual. But I thought for those of you who are interested in braided footwear, would appreciate seeing what was on offer at the stand of Sutor Mantellassi at the last Pitti Uomo. Having been always curious about the braiding of leather, I must say that I was quite impressed with the lot of these as it really showed what can be done when it comes to braided leather. I particularly loved the wholecut and could easily see myself rockin’ those for the Summer! It’s also not to mention how beautiful the balmoral oxford is, being a good amount more elegant than many of it’s English competitors!

I can’t find anyone selling their shoes? I have several pairs and I love their footwear.
Mario’s of Seattle and Portland does…mainly small stockists do…. or in Europe (particularly Italy, they have their own shops)
