The price increase for Septieme Largeur has been recently announced. This was something I had been warning about for a while, and it was inevitable. Compared to other brands, they had held out longer in making that increase. Unfortunately, I don’t believe this is the end of the price increases we will see in the shoe industry though. I fear that 2024 will bring more. Will keep on top of them for you!
Luckily, Septieme Largeur gave fair warning, announcing that there are still 8 more days to take advantage of the old pricing before the impending increase kicks in on March 1st. While they only hinted at 3 types of shoes going up in price, I imagine that all types of footwear will be affected. Thankfully the price increase is not a lot. The most egregious one is around 22% but that is for their patina models. Truth be told, they were way undervalued to begin with. It is still a very fair price for what you are getting in return.
The average price increase is around 11%. Considering Septieme Largeur’s already low pricing this grand increase is only between €30-€40. It is not a lot. But, there will be some of you who don’t like it. Those of you who don’t like it, and want to take advantage of the current pricing, have 8 more days to place your orders at the old pricing. So don’t waste any time and go get ordering!
