We’re bringing the shine back to New York City with the Saphir Shoe Shine Masterclass NYC Winter Edition
On March 7th, 2026, at 4:30 PM, we return to Soho for another Saphir Shoe Shine Masterclass NYC, hosted once again at the beautiful Charles Paige Atelier. This Winter 2026 edition will run for two full hours and offer hands-on instruction focused entirely on the art of the elegant shine.

What to Expect
This is not just a demonstration. This is a structured, hands-on workshop designed to elevate your shoe care knowledge to a professional level, where you should leave knowing more about caring for your shoes and the steps to achieving a mirror shine.
The session will be led by:
- Levi Elliott – Host and shine specialist, 1st American Shoe Shine Champ from the NY Super Trunk Show
- Justin FitzPatrick – Co-host
- Special Guest: Nick English of Stridewise (Nick is just coming as an observer, but Nick is a good friend and authority on footwear in the industry; definitely make sure to meet him!)
The focus, as always, is on how premium products, such as Saphir, and good technique can take you from bare shoes to achieving a proper mirror shine.
Attendees will learn:
- Proper leather preparation
- Conditioning vs. nourishing
- Cream vs. wax application
- Layering technique for a high-gloss finish
- How to avoid common mistakes
- Efficient shine-building methods
