Today is the hottest day of the year (for NYC), getting up to 84 degrees Farenheit so I finally broke out a short sleeve shirt, a linen jacket, some bold socks and a pair loafers to celebrate!
This whole lockdown in NYC has led to some pretty drab sartorial decisions, often plagued with sweat pants and hoodies so being that we finally have some beautiful weather and NYC is acting more ‘open’ than locked down with the amount of people in the streets and cars in the road, I felt it finally time to really break out my “nice” clothing.
This week has actually been a great week as we have finally started building out our new shop in NYC, getting the shelving installed and slowly but surely making it look more and more like a shop than a shell. After weeks at home, it feels good to progress to something that we have been so patiently waiting on, a step that will take our brand to the next level. It is exciting but also a bit scary at the same time without truly knowing how things will start to open up for businesses in NYC. But we are hoping for the best!
Wishing everyone a healthy and safe weekend!

Good news indeed, so glad to see there’s some light at the end of the tunnel..! And nice loafers, yes…
Thanks JM! Have a great weekend!
You too!
Shoes clearly demarcate the place where earth ends and man begins
I think that sounds like a good thing ?
