Mr. Dapper, also known as Albert Gjukaj, has been in the shoe industry for a while now, specializing in bringing heritage brands to Switzerland, where he is based and has a store. Those brands included Carmina, Crockett & Jones, and Saint Crispins. Mr. Dapper has recently enjoyed the success of going viral on Instagram, where you can find his captivating videos showing how he patina’s his Carmina pairs, bringing up to a mirror that is out of this world. And now, Mr. Dapper comes to NYC for the first time to present his offering to us in the USA.
Mr. Dapper will be in NYC from February 12th -14th, presenting at two different places. Let’s take a look.

Charles Paige – Thursday, February 12th, from 530pm to 830pm
Mr. Dapper’s first stop is at Soho Tailor, Charles Paige’s showroom. This Thursday, Mr. Dapper will present his works, offering the chance for customers to order a pair of his famous patina styles on either a Carmina shoe or a custom model made exclusively for him by Saint Crispins. At the same time, I highly recommend grabbing some smart jeans from Charles Paige or one of his lovely knit sweaters. It will be a nice event, and I am sad that I cannot attend!
Charles Paige is located at 584 Broadway #906, New York, NY 10012

Carmina on Madison Ave – Friday & Saturday, February 13th/14th
For the rest of his trip, Mr. Dapper will be presenting at Carmina, offering his custom patinas to clients who come and order. While I am somewhat foggy on the details of the shoes available to add a custom patina to, I would expect that the offering will be slightly more open to other models not currently offered by Mr. Dapper himself. Being that trunk shows usually have special deals that come with them, I highly suggest visiting to see all that he has to offer on these days.
Carmina’s shop is located at 509 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10022
If you are around the NYC area this coming Thursday through Saturday, I highly suggest stopping by one of these places to check him out!
