They say that style is always revisited from time past. Well, I am unsure if they actually wore button shoes in the Victorian era but with the success of the button boot that they did wear, we couldn’t help but give it a go and try to bring back some more of that Victorian elegance to modern day society.
While the button boot was all about contrast, I thought that we would switch it up with the shoes (at least for the first season) by offering it in tonal colors but on a leather/suede combo. And even though, I am all about preaching color to the masses, I have been feeling the idea of black more and more (maybe it’s the fact that I am getting older) and decided to start with a black on black on black model. But in order to not have only one as originally planned, I am winging it with another one in blue on blue on blue (more like navy). So one “conservative” one and one a bit more fun (in color).
—- see photo-shopped versions of the navy blue below (from the black version). This will not be entirely accurate but gives you the idea of what to come —
As I am hoping for this to be as sought after as the boots were, I decided to hold a pre-sale on this even though it won’t be available until early October (possibly sooner but no promises). Good looking shoe! Can the buttons be moved to adjust the fit?
yes I was wondering the same thing … can the embarrassingly silly buttons be moved off the shoe completely? I wonder if this is why shoe knobs wife left .. as he walked around london looking like a plonker?
I wonder if you could be removed completely. 🙂
At this point it’s just embarrassingly obvious how desperate you are for his attention. I’m bored…
Xx
What a loathsome character. No one who really has a life would waste it on posting such trash.
