On our 3rd collaboration with Dandy Shoe Care, we decided to switch it up a bit and offer a boot as opposed to the typical shoe that we have been previously offering. And not only did we do a boot, but we also did a new model entirely, called David. The David boot stems from a play on our Wedgwood model and was created by a customer that wanted to change a few details to the Wedgwood (but maintaining the pattern), by adding brogueing, putting it on the LPB last and adding our Fleur de Lys medallion with a cap toe. What came out of that was a very nice version of an elegant brogue boot, IMHO. And because it such a nice job done, we thought ‘why not use it for our next collaboration with patina extraordinaire, Mr. Alexander Nurulaeff?’
So, we first got some samples to make patina with but they did not come out exactly as I wanted the boot to be. I did not want eyelets and wanted them on a double sole, so when you look at the pictures of the boot with the patina on it, please only see that as a reference for what can be done color-wise. The actual boot will look like the white version as shown above. And below you can see patina’s done from our previous collaborations that could also serve as inspiration for something towards a boot.
Like all of our collaborations, the way that it works is that we charge one set price for the boot, the patina and a travel shoe tree that comes with it. (shipping costs are added on top depending on where you live). US/Canada/UK/EU (incl. Norway and Switzerland) are all FREE SHIPPING. The rest of the world is 20 so it’s not so bad. When one purchases, I will set them up over email with Alexander, to which you will then explain to him what it is that you want. Most patinas are covered within what we are charging but if request something that would take Alexander double the time of a normal patina (like Camouflage) then you will have to pay him more directly.
The patina’s will take 2-3 months to complete. If you add toe taps to them, I will have them affixed as soon as I receive them back from Alexander which will delay another week.
The total price is 475 (ex VAT 395.83). You can find them at the link below. And like all collaborations, these are limited, so once the size is gone it will not be reordered.

Hi Justin,
New to this concept. Would the patina wear off after a while since the original boot is white?
I love them!
