Carmina just opened a new shop in San Francisco! This becomes their 3rd in the US and their 7th in the world. And this is just the beginning. I know that they have plans for further expansion in the coming year into 2025. While I cannot divulge too much, I know that they are looking to open in a city that has been long overdue for a Carmina store!
Carmina’s new shop in San Francisco is a breath of fresh air for one of America’s prettiest cities that in recent years has experienced issues in the retail world. But hopefully, with new shops popping up, San Francisco can put that all behind them and become the great city it once was. I was recently there, in fact, in the Embarcadero district and it was quite empty. Not like the San Francisco I knew. But I feel a resurgence coming and with the opening of a great shoe brand, like Carmina, it is only a matter of time before more people follow suit.
California is one of the largest markets in the world. I know because I probably send more shoes to California than I do anywhere else. And while San Francisco has a bad rep now on the retail side of things, I think that it is good to have a base there where there are still a plethora of individuals who appreciate dressing nicely and have the means to do so.
If you are based in San Francisco, make sure to head over to 54 Geary St and give the new Carmina shop a visit. If you have yet to visit one of their stores, it will surely be a treat!

I hope they choose Chicago as one of their expansion cities.
