Yeossal loafers keep getting better and better. They recently dropped two new models, a highly unique double strap penny fusion with embossed straps and a full strap butterfly loafer with the bands stitched to the vamp for a very sleek look. I keep saying the same thing, but these are truly some super cool loafer styles and might keep trumping the last models released. The color/design combo on the double strap (‘Twin’) loafers is just sublime.
I was recently in Singapore and had the pleasure of visiting Yeossal’s showroom in my old stomping grounds, Boat Quay. It brought back a lot of memories. Boat Quay is the neighborhood I used to do my trunk shows. I love it there, and it was nice to be back.

During my visit, I was finally able to meet Jackson (the owner) in person, as well as Akira. I got measured up for some awesome new clothing, coming soon, as well as was able to get a sneak peek at some of their newest models. Among my favorites were these two new Yeossal loafers: The Civic (double strap) and the Tanglin butterfly loafer.
Although the butterfly loafer is traditionally my favorite loafer design, I must admit that I was more blown away by the Civic, double strap loafer. Something about the combination of the design, last, and color choice really hit the nail on the head for me. The beauty of shopping at Yeossal is that what you see is just a template, and nearly any of the details can be altered. Want a round last? Update it. Want to alter the heel? Update it. Add a fiddleback sole? Select it. The customization ability is good.

Yeossal’s hand-welted shoes are priced around $600 USD and offer some of the best value around. Their shoes feel substantial and offer the right amount of detailing for the price. I feel supported in their shoes, which is one of the most important aspects for me.
The website can be tricky to navigate, though, so it is best to use their filter to find the ‘newest’ additions. I look forward to seeing what some of you create with their latest MTO additions!
