Yearn Corduroy Loafers: New Model Update

I swear the designer at Yearn thinks exactly as I do. I am not saying I was intending to make anything like this, and they beat me to it, but I absolutely love the ideas they create. They are often in the same styles/materials that I love and have done in the past, i.e., braided loafers, using corduroy in footwear, and much more. That is why the new Yearn corduroy loafers are so easy for me to love and appreciate, as it is exactly something I would wear.

Yearn takes it up a step though with their corduroy loafers as they are not actually made with the standard corduroy fabric in wool but actually made in suede with the corduroy design and texture. That was a smart idea as in the end a good suede will be more resistant to the elements rather than a wool made corduroy would. That was a smart move on their part.

The pattern on these new Yearn corduroy loafers is just perfect. This will be a more shoe designer ‘nerd-out’ feeling but it really shows how much they thought about it and how it well they executed it. Those subtle details, for me, are what help to differentiate a brand that simply makes what already exists and those that clearly put thought down on paper and made something unique. These are unique.

I always say this, so it will come as no surprise to hear it again, but hoping that these sell well so Yearn makes them in some new colorways. I nice dark navy and dark green, I think, would greatly suit the style of these loafers. Failing that as a production option, thankfully Yearn does offer MTO for those who think like me on that front 😉
