Don’t have any time to write today so I thought that I would do my best to make it up by simply giving you as much shoe porn that I can…
I hope that you all enjoy!!
best,
Justin, “The Shoe Snob”
Hi Justin
One question for you. How does the rolled over bit of leather on the vamp of th G&G work. I can’t figure out how they can get the “shiny side” to effectively be on both sides of the leather. If they had a double width section folded to make it “double sided” you’d still expect to see a seam at some point no?
You should make a page called “Straight Shoe Porn” and post nothing but hardcore bespoke shoe porn.
Anon – good question, will have to get back to you on that one…could be that they take a piece of leather that is twice the width as the band, skive it real thin, fold it in half to make it the width that you see, and then glue it together, possibly burning the end that has the leather closing together so that it stays shut…that would be my theory, but will have to investigate it further, or simply ask Tony and get back to you…
Mr. Rockenhiemer – that’s actually a good idea…just might have to do that…I just wonder how many pictures that I can upload on a post without doing to many…

Great, thanks. I look forward to finding out
