The Super Trunk Show concept has finally made its way to Asia. What began in Stockholm back in 2014 — and later expanded into Amsterdam, London, and New York — now arrives in Singapore, joining the two flagship editions we continue to host in London and NYC. Over the years, these events have also inspired a number of similar gatherings across the world.
At its heart, a Super Trunk Show is an open-to-the-public showcase that brings together shoemakers, shoe-care specialists, and menswear artisans from all corners of the globe. Many of the brands on display are rarely seen in the host city, while a few offer local representation, creating a blend that feels part exhibition and part intimate trade fair.
Each show also features one or more competitions — most often in shoe shining, and in London sometimes extended to shoemaking or patina work — alongside stage talks, demonstrations, and other happenings throughout the venue. Over time, these events have become not only a celebration of craft but also a natural meeting point for industry professionals and shoe enthusiasts alike.
We’re proud to present the inaugural Singapore Super Trunk Show — a collaborative effort between Jesper Ingevaldsson of Shoegazing, myself at The Shoe Snob, and Kirby Allison. The support from the team at CNES Singapore has been instrumental in bringing this event to life.
Asia has become one of the most dynamic regions for quality footwear over the past decade. Whether in classic dress shoes or the surge of well-made rugged boots, the appetite for craftsmanship has grown tremendously. The same can be said for tailoring and other menswear artisans, with a number of exceptional makers emerging across the region. The value-to-quality ratio here is often outstanding.
For this edition, we’ve put particular emphasis on showcasing Asian brands, while still welcoming a select group of European makers to round out the lineup.

The venue for this year’s event is The Warehouse on the River Promenade, located at 5 Jiak Kim Street in central Singapore. It’s a beautiful, single-level space housed within a complex that also includes a restaurant and serviced apartments. Guests will first step into the main exhibition hall, where all participating makers are showcased. Continuing inward, the layout opens into a relaxed lounge area where Old Moon Spirits will be serving complimentary Japanese shochu and awamori — either neat or in cocktails — while That One Coffee will be offering coffee and tea for purchase.
Toward the back of the venue are two adjoining rooms. The first will feature a small stage hosting a series of brief presentations and talks on various footwear topics every hour on the hour. In the inner room, Saphir and Ash Samsudin of Métiers Sol will run hands-on shoe-care workshops throughout the day, giving visitors the chance to spruce up their own shoes with Saphir products and receive personalized guidance from Ash. More details on these sessions will follow.
The marquee event of the day is the inaugural Asian Championships of Shoe Shining, held in partnership with Saphir and Bridlen, beginning at 15:00. For this segment, the lounge will be transformed into a dedicated stage area to accommodate what we expect may be a sizable audience. Three finalists — selected through a qualification round — will each receive a Bridlen plain-toe oxford in medium brown, one jar of Saphir Médaille d’Or Pâte de Luxe, one jar of Mirror Gloss, water, a brush, and a polishing cloth. With only 20 minutes on the clock, they’ll compete to produce the most impressive shine possible.
Prizes include the pair of shoes they shine, a selection of shoe-care products, medals, and a total purse of 800 USD (1,000 SGD), courtesy of Saphir. The competition will be streamed live on Shoegazing’s YouTube channel, with full coverage to follow later on Kirby Allison’s channel. Finalists will be announced soon.

Please follow the Facebook page for the event here, where you’ll get all of the latest updates. Let us know if you plan to attend, and please help spread the word. We really hope the first Singapore super trunk will gather lots of people interested in quality men’s footwear and clothes from both near and far.
Mark your calendars, book your flights and read about the exhibitors below to start planning your purchase. Hope to see many of you in Singapore on January 31st, 2026!
Below is all of the info about the companies that will exhibit.
The Platinum Sponsors of The Singapore Super Trunk Show 2026

Saphir
Saphir has long been regarded as a benchmark in premium shoe care. The story began in 1925 with the introduction of a shoe cream whose original formula is still in use today. Since then, the range has steadily grown into one of the most comprehensive selections on the market. The Medaille d’Or line, in particular, has become the standard against which all other shoe-care brands are measured.
With Saphir, you not only achieve excellent results in your shoe-care routine – the products are also known for being straightforward and pleasant to work with. Every product in the Medaille d’Or collection is made exclusively from natural ingredients such as beeswax, carnauba wax, essence of turpentine, lanolin, mink oil, neatsfoot oil, and various vegetal ingredients. If you still haven’t tried Saphir’s products, you haven’t experienced what shoe care can be.

Their uppers are also made in a manner more akin to bespoke shoemaking, including the use of genuine leather backings. Prices for their welted models begin at an impressive 350 SGD (270 USD).
