One thing that I really like about Alfred Sargent is the fact that they love to take on fun ideas. What I mean by that is that they are frequently doing collaborations with stores or forums to produce something that is either specially requested or mutually designed for an exclusive purchasing. One of their continuous collaborators is webstore ‘A Fine Pair of Shoes‘, of which their famous Cooper model is a favorite of mine (particularly in the two toned blue model that they made awhile back). As you can see, they recently decided to offer the model again, but this time doing it in a more traditional two-tone brown combination. A bit more subtle than the blue model but equally as cool. If you were a fan of the first one, but did not get it you will be pleased to know that this is currently on sale and will be for only two more days. So get them while they’re hot! LINK HERE
Justin. Great shoe! How does the sizing compare to EG or G&G, other English makers?
they really are beautiful, this site is dangerous, everyday I come on here and there is something else to tempt me, I really liked the blue ones when I saw them here first, but these are a far more usable investment, very tempting, also wondering about sizing…?
MarkLA – Unfortunately my friend, Alfred Sargent is the English maker that I have handled the least, so i cannot really comment…but I know that this shoe is a standard F, which is on the wide side…whereas EG and G&G are and E and fit a lot more narrowly…
Fraher – they are lovely indeed…sorry I can’t help with sizing however….
