It is a busy week in New York City!
Ben Robinson had his Stitchdown event in Brooklyn last weekend. I did not attend but heard that it was a success. Good on him and that side of the industry. Paolo Scafora is having his bi-annual New York trunk show at the Lombardy Hotel through Thursday. Gaziano & Girling are showing at the Loews Regency from the 9th to the 11th. They also do a bi-annual New York trunk show with the London Collective. Learn more about that here.
But more important, is the New York Super Trunk Show, which takes place this Saturday, October 14th. You have probably seen this 100 times already but here is your final reminder. There have also been some changes to the brands showcasing so just in case you were hoping to see a brand that was not originally listed, make sure to check it out again.
It is going to be an exciting event, filled with free refreshments from Hercules Mulligan, a shoe-shine showdown, a patina exhibition, and 17 shoe and menswear/accessory brands from around the world. On top of that, you can come to meet yours truly, Kirby Allison and Jesper Ingelvaldsson, the hosts of the show, not to mention meet your other shoe friends of the industry. It will be a fun-filled event with no pressure to buy but more to just come hang out and see what is going on. There is no entrance fee so just come along and bring a few friends to join!
We all look forward to seeing you there!
