Mason & Smith - Patina on the Rise

Patina is fast becoming the standard in footwear and it would appear that in 5 years time, everyone is going to be offering it in one form or another. One of the people who I think will become another “great” in the industry is John Chung of Mason & Smith, as you can see here from his lovely museum like patina given to these wholecuts. I am not quite sure if John is actually taking patina orders yet, but know that he is building his skills to soon do so. If you want to find out for yourself, you can always pop into his stand, located inside Kevin Seah’s shop at the Boat Quay. From what I see, here, his abilities look promising, but would like to see how an old shoe is fixed up first as that is where the true skills lay. Well done for this one though John! And for those of you in SG, get ready for a patina extraordinaire to hit the industry.
