For those of you that do not know, Holden & Green is a new British brand specializing in entry level welted shoes. They have only been around for a few months with their own label but started as a company selling off leftovers from other brands, and still doing so. Seeing a gap in the market for something of a lower pricepoint but with a higher level of finishing to what you find in other British brands of this pricepoint, what they managed to come up with is an Indian made shoe that specializes in goodyear welt, using EU leathers and coming with fiddle back and bevelled waists, all currently for the low price of £235!!
For those of you true shoe snobs, you might turn your nose up to this which I can understand, but for those of you appreciating a well made shoe at a good pricepoint despite where it was made, then this might an interesting find for you. I shall let you all decide. While I haven’t worn one myself you can see a review of them on Instagram at this account: https://www.instagram.com/fosta87/
Happy Shopping!
