The Crockett & Jones 325 Last celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year, and to commemorate the classic last, Crockett & Jones has created three new colorways in existing popular models as their latest pre-order collection. Let’s take a look at each model, what their pre-order entails, and discuss why it is you need at least one of these! I know which one I would go for 😉

The Crockett & Jones 325 Last
Along with the 348 last, the 325 is one of Crockett & Jones’ most popular lasts. It has a beautiful classic round shape that looks good on nearly any style of shoe. They have 26 on the 325 last, including some of their most popular models, such as the Cavendish and the three below. Each year, they sell around 7500 pairs of shoes on the 325 last. Quite incredible if you ask me. And on just one last!

The Models on Offer
There are three models in the Crockett & Jones 325 Last Anniversary collection:
- The Coniston – Coming in a lovely ‘Russian Grain’, the new Coniston is lovely in color and offers a unique contrast welt on a darker commando style sole. A real beauty, and my favorite of the bunch
- The Pembroke – The classic brogued wingtip derby, comes in a lovely rough out suede that has a hatch grain-like pattern. A real workhorse shoe!
- The Grasmere – This is a plain-toe derby I can get down with. Coming on a commando sole and the lovely oxblood zug grain, this is a unique model that will be many’s favorite.

What is Crockett & Jones Pre-order?
C&J’s pre-order offering is similar to a GMTO offering, where they allow you to pre-purchase your pair without an MTO fee and for something that is usually exclusive and might be made for one batch only. The pre-order period is only for a select time. As of this moment, there are a little over 30 days to place your orders for one of these three models. After that, the pre-period closes and the model goes back to the archives.
