Yes, you read that right. The Chicago Super Trunk Show 2026 is officially happening—and not only are we moving our U.S. event from New York to Chicago, but we’re also joining forces with Stitchdown.
Taking place November 6th–7th at Artifact Events in Chicago, this will be one of the largest gatherings of quality footwear and menswear in the world.
A New Chapter: Partnering with Stitchdown Expo
For those unfamiliar, Stitchdown Expo—formerly known as Boot Camp—is widely regarded as the world’s largest event dedicated to high-quality boots and rugged footwear, along with makers, suppliers, and enthusiasts from across the industry.
Over the years, we’ve had a natural overlap. While the Super Trunk Show has traditionally focused more on classic footwear, Stitchdown has built a strong following in the rugged space. Many exhibitors and attendees have supported both events, and when Stitchdown was hosted in New York, we made a point to align our calendars.
After ongoing conversations with Ben Robinson, it became clear—bringing these two worlds together made too much sense not to pursue.

From New York to Chicago
Back in 2023, we hosted the first U.S. edition of the Super Trunk Show in New York. Held on the Upper East Side, the event brought together around 15 brands and roughly 1,000 attendees annually, along with the U.S. Championships of Shoe Shining and a host of other footwear-focused experiences.
It’s been a fantastic run, but as organizers—myself, Jesper Ingevaldsson of Shoegazing, and Kirby Allison—we’re always looking to evolve.
Chicago gives us that opportunity.
The Venue: Artifact Events
The new home for the Chicago Super Trunk Show 2026 will be Artifact Events, a space that offers both character and scale.
Having already proven itself as a successful venue for Stitchdown’s previous Chicago event, it provides the perfect foundation to grow this into something even bigger.

What to Expect in 2026
This won’t just be a relocation—it’s an expansion.
We’re aiming to bring together:
- 2,000+ attendees
- 50+ brands and makers
- A wide range of footwear, from classic dress shoes to rugged boots
- Accessories, suppliers, and related quality goods
In addition to the exhibitions, we’ll also be expanding our competitions. The shine contest will evolve into The Americas Championships of Shoe Shining, opening participation to competitors from across North and South America.
More details on that soon.
