Carmina has recently launched their new A/W17 collection and there are some very cool and elegant options in there, not to mention that there are about 60 new SKU’s in total (which is a lot!) . As it is obviously highlighted, my favorite of the bunch is this two toned spectator brogue above. It is not often that you see this color-pairing of brown calf and olive suede and while some might deem it a challenging choice to wear I find it to be refreshingly different to the common choice of spectator colors. I also think that with the earth tone shades used for this shoe, that they would actually be a lot easier than wearing the traditional black and white or even dark brown with beige, as the olive being quite subtle allows it to pair well with more different colors of trouser.

My two other favorites are the very Victorian black oxford boot and the very light cordovan semi brogue. The shape of the shaft on the boot is spectacular. You can see that thought went into that pattern and it makes them look extremely elegant.

For those of you that are Carmina fans, I am sure that you will at least find one or two things that might put in a dent in your pocket.

Happy Shopping!
