Carmina’s Cordovan Week 2024 has just kicked off today! In this promotion, you have 7 days to order any Cordovan MTO model in any color of Cordovan you desire, all without an MTO fee, and with free shoe trees, and free shipping. That is one heck of a deal! If you have yet to jump into Cordovan but have always been interested, now is your time to take advantage.
There are over 50 models to choose from. I am unsure if they will make exceptions, but if you prefer to make another model that is not listed in their dedicated Cordovan collection, I would email and ask. Just tell them that I sent you 😉 I always love to see new make-ups and ideas. And I love seeing it in Cordovan because of how rich the color of the leather always is. The funny thing is though, that personally I am not a super Cordovan lover myself. Oh well. I still appreciate it.
I am going to keep this short and sweet so for all of you that are interested in Carmina’s Cordovan Week 2024, just follow the link below! Happy Shopping!

Hi Justin,
how are you?
Recently discovered your blog and like it a lot.
Now this is a bit off topic and was already posted in an older blog of yours by me, but I’m not sure if it will be read there!
I just bought a pair of high quality Chukka boots.
Since I’m in Germany I am using a cream paste by Colonil, which rejuvenates the color AND also claims to condition the leather.
Do you think that is enough care before waxing them,or do I really need the leather lotion at first?
Sorry for bothering you with basic questions like this, but these boots are my first €500 shoes,so I don’t wanna mess ’em up!The brand is called Franz Gustav and they are made in Portugal.
Keep it coming…
Al.

Hi Justin,
what’s up?
You’ve got a great blog!
Now this is a bit off topic and I already wrote to you in an older thread, so I’m not sure if you read it.
I use a cream lotion by Colonil, which claims to rejuvenate the color AND also condition and nurture the leather at once.
Is that enough before waxing my shoes or do I explicitly need a leather conditioner at first?
Sorry for writing twice and bothering you with basic questions like this, but as I already mentioned, these are my first pair of serious shoes, so I don’t wanna mess ’em up.
Greetings from Cologne

Hey Al, all good, I get them all. I just have to approve new commentators as otherwise I would have a ton of spam on the blog 😉
