Bresciani socks are among the finest in the world and are my personal favorite. While I cannot claim to have tried all of the socks out there, I just don’t see the quality getting better than what they offer. And the designs, for me, are among the best I have ever seen and that is what I really love about them. For the longest time, socks were boring. The designs were always the same. You either found solids or simple stripes. Bresciani was one of the leading manufacturers to really break out and offer patterns that were unlike anything one would have seen before. And now it is a trend across most sock manufacturers. And I love it!
My all-time favorite sock is their Enea sock (deckchair stripe – see above). I have it in 5 colorways, or so, and only wished that I had it in more combinations. Mostly, they have been done with a white contrasting stripe but would love to see more with a black contrasting stripe. Let’s see if Bresciani will start to make them. They have a new pattern too that is quickly rivaling the Enea sock. That is the basket jacquard (see below) that they usually have for the Autumn selection. It is precisely the type of pattern that stands out against the rest as unique, unusual yet elegant and appealing. My only hope is that they continue to expand these two ranges and never discontinue them.
Bresciani, being a large company, has many stockists around the world, but recently has also started selling directly off their own e-commerce site. On top of that, they are coming to the London Super Trunk Show as one of our partners. It is a great chance to see them in person and be able to appreciate what sets them apart from the average sock that you find in some random department and/or menswear store. If you are around the London area on May 13th and need some new great socks, I highly recommend coming to check them out. I know that I will be picking up a few pairs myself while there!

How about William Abraham?
amazing socks too! At a certain level, it is hard for one to truly be better. I just love Bresciani socks, so am biased towards them. There are many great sock makers out there
I’ve just been to their factory store: let us just say that if you are anywhere in Europe you can fly to Milano Orio, rent a car for the day, have a nice lunch, visit Bergamo in the afternoon, and still came ahead from the financial point of view.
That place sounds like a dream!
